Conference “Cortical Codes: Control & Perception”

Russian ministry of Education and Science Government grant ag. No 14.641.31.0003, Megagrant to Mikhail Lebedev.

The Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience and the Center for Bioelectric Interfaces hosted the CCCP conference on October 29-30. This year the focus was on developing uni- and bi-directional brain-machine interfaces and neurofeedback methods.

Conference “Cortical Codes: Control & Perception”

The conference brought together 120 participants, including 22 speakers, for two highly productive days of presentations and discussions.The key speakers were Dr. Galit Pelled (Michigan State University), Dr. Tonio Ball (Bernstein Center Freiburg), Dr. Guido Nolte (UKE, Hamburg), Dr. Mehdi Ordikhani (Lausanne University Hospital), Guenter Edlinger (g.tec, Graz), Thorsten Zander (TU Berlin), Dr. Alex Ossadtchi and Dr. Mikhail Lebedev.

Despite the seemingly narrow topic, the presentations addressed a variety of BMI-related subjects ranging from the use of BMI in patient rehabilitation to deep learning techniques.
