Development of invasive neurocomputer interfaces based on the electrocorticogram (ECoG) involves working with patients who underwent subdural implantation of stripe electrodes or mesid electrodes for medical reasons, in particular for preoperative mapping of the cerebral cortex. Such research is made possible through cooperation with medical institutions working in the direction of neurosurgery.
